Enhance the installation and usability of your Remoran Wave 3 hydrogenerator with the Remoran Long Rail Kit. This extended mounting rail system allows you to easily raise or lower the generator unit while sailing, improving comfort, safety, and operational control.

The Long Rail Kit enables the outboard unit of the Remoran Wave 3 to be mounted securely on the rail without the turbine touching the water. The generator remains safely positioned at the top of the rail until you decide to deploy it.

Lowering the generator into the water can be done at moderate speeds of 5 knots or less, provided a lubricant has been applied to the rail for smooth movement.

How It Works

The Long Rail Kit allows the Remoran Wave 3 generator unit to slide along the mounting rail for easy deployment.

The generator is mounted above the waterline when not in use
When ready to generate power, the unit can be lowered into the water at speeds up to 5 knots
The angle can be adjusted while the unit moves down the rail, depending on your boat's geometry
The deeper the generator reaches into the water, the greater the force exerted by water flow, making adjustments more difficult

In higher speeds or rougher seas, the boat should be turned toward the wind and slowed to 5 knots or less before raising or lowering the generator unit.
