The Plastimo 811-T Jib Reefing System combines reliable performance, easy handling, and low-maintenance construction for cruising sailboats. Developed from Plastimo’s decades of experience in composite materials and high-pressure injection manufacturing, the 811 series is designed to make headsail reefing smooth and dependable for both experienced sailors and recreational boaters.

Designed for boats with 4-7 mm forestays and genoas up to 35 m², the 811-T features a durable aluminum drum core that provides excellent mechanical strength while keeping weight to a minimum.

The drum cheeks swivel through 360°, helping the furling line feed smoothly into the drum regardless of the line angle. Both the drum and halyard swivel incorporate Torlon® and Delrin® ball bearings for smooth operation, durability, and increased resistance under load.

The 811 series also comes standard with adjustable chain plates, providing flexibility for installation using either chainplates or a turnbuckle.
