The Plastimo Mini Contest 2 Compass brings the legendary accuracy and readability of the Contest compass into a compact bulkhead-mounted design for smaller sailboats and sportboats. Ideal for agile sailboats up to 9 m / 30 ft, the Mini Contest 2 offers dependable navigation with a highly legible conical card, 3 lubber lines, LED lighting, and durable watertight construction.

Designed for vertical bulkhead mounting, the Mini Contest 2 is easy to read from the cockpit and built to withstand marine conditions. The compass card is graduated every 5° with heading numerals every 30°, making it easy to read in changing weather and light conditions. Its 12-24 V LED lighting evenly illuminates the dome and card for comfortable nighttime navigation.

The compass features a one-piece molded flange and front dome, UV-treated materials, a scratch-resistant dome, and a Viton® diaphragm that helps compensate for fluid expansion and contraction caused by temperature and atmospheric pressure changes, helping prevent bubble formation.

Mounting Information

The Plastimo Mini Contest 2 is designed for vertical bulkhead mounting and can also be mast-mounted with an optional mast mounting kit. It is compatible with the drilling diameter of the former Mini Contest model of the same size.

For standard bulkheads up to 40 mm max, the compass is secured with threaded rods. For thick or double bulkheads, it can be secured with Parker screws on both sides of the bulkhead.
