Designed for small to mid-size sailboats, the Plastimo 406T Jib Reefing System combines lightweight construction, reliable operation, and the proven engineering behind more than 50 years of Plastimo headsail reefing expertise.

Suitable for boats from approximately 4 to 11 metres, the 406T makes headsail handling easier for both experienced sailors and recreational cruisers. Its simple, virtually maintenance-free design provides dependable furling and reefing while helping you manage sail area quickly as conditions change.

Although compact and lightweight, the 406 incorporates features normally associated with larger furling systems. Both the drum and halyard swivel feature two Delrin® twin ball-bearing races, helping provide smooth rotation under load. Components are manufactured from durable polyamide for a combination of strength, low weight, and corrosion resistance in the marine environment.

The 406T version includes a turnbuckle configuration, making it suitable for installations where forestay adjustment is required.
